babe Isaiah

I am SO eager to share with you a little bit about Anton + Amanda's story on how they have been blessed with three beautiful boys, two of which are adopted AND biological brothers. Please take some time reading a little bit of their story and if you feel led to support them, don't hesitate! Amanda has an awesome etsy shop where she is selling personalized mugs that all the profits are going to the adoption. Or if you feel led to just give money, please please do. They are working with a charity that will double their donations up to $4,000!

The beautiful Folz family

The beautiful Folz family

"I never thought that adoption could be such a challenge and yet such a blessing. I have never experienced something so complicated and challenging, yet so full of unexplainable love and passion. One year ago, we finalized the adoption of our son Jordan, and if I had to describe the experience with one word I would say, beautiful. Simply put, adoption is beautiful. A beautiful sacrifice, a beautiful commitment, a beautiful blessing, a beautiful mercy-filled journey of redemption, grace, and love. I never knew that I could love an adopted child in the same way that I loved the child that came from my own womb. The love I have for Jordan is so special. Our relationship is not the result of biology; it is the result ofchoice. One loving mother’s brave and selfless choice for life, and another mother’s sacrificial choice to love for life. It is beautiful, simply and amazingly beautiful. And today, we have the opportunity to experience this complicated beautiful thing called adoption a second time.

Late one evening in September, we received a very unexpected phone call from our son Jordan’s adoption attorney. She explained that his birthmother was expecting another son, and out of deep love and concern for her unborn child, she wanted to know if we would consider adopting him into our family to raise him with his biological sibling. We prayed until two in the morning before we said yes to another beautiful adoption journey. Later that same week, our amazing birthmother went into labor, and now we have three beautiful little boys.

As I sit here typing this letter to you, I look upon the precious face of baby Isaiah Folz. He came into this world weighing 5 lbs. and 8 oz., ready to be loved by his forever family. We were not prepared for this beautiful journey. Although saying yes to God by saying yes to baby Isaiah was indeed a joy, it was also difficult. To make a life-changing decision in one night, with no financial planning, was hard. I knew in my heart that the Lord wanted Isaiah to be our son. Undoubtedly, We have been blessed us with enough love and resources to raise this precious child as our own, but with the cost of US adoptions typically ranging between $25-45,000.00, I found myself asking God to help me trust in him to cover our adoption expenses.

Tonight, as I look down into Isaiah’s bassinette, feeling so much love, I say to you again today: adoption is sobeautiful. I have never been more confident of a calling in my life. I know that Isaiah is our son, that it is right for him to be raised with his biological sibling, and that his adoption was ordained by God. I have faith that God will provide the finances to cover our adoption expenses through your generous gifts. I humbly turn to you, my friends and family, to ask for your help. My prayer is that God would lay it upon your hearts to give to baby Isaiah so that we can officially call him our son. Anton and I have covered $17,000 in expenses ourselves over the past 60 days, and we still are facing an obsticle of $15,000.00.

Thanks to Lifesong for Orphans and Orphan Care Alliance, your generous gift will be doubled, up to $4,000.00! You can make donations directly through this website, or you can mail a check to Lifesong for our family (see details below). Every gift, every dollar contributed, will make a difference. Please be a part of this beautiful mercy filled journey of redemption, grace, and love. Together we can make an eternal difference in Isaiah’s life.

Every number has a name, every name has a story, and every story matters to God.

Blessed to be a blessing,

Amanda and Anton Folz"
